Android 5.0 Lollipop sul Galaxy S5 [Video]

Il Galaxy S5 si appresta a ricevere Android L in tempi brevi. Almeno a quanto dicono i ben informati di SamMobile che hanno anche pubblicato un lungo video con una ROM funzionante sul Galaxy S5 basata su Android 5.0.

La ROM mostrata nel video tuttavia non evidenzia notevoli cambiamenti nella grafica ed è ora che Samsung abbandoni la TouchWiz perchè oramai è molto simile alle prime versioni del primo Galaxy S e anche su Android L non si nota un vero salto se non per qualche effetto e colori leggermente in tema Lollipop.

Al momento il firmware non verrà reso pubblico per via dei numerosi problemi in fase di utilizzo quotidiano ma non è escluso che entro 1 mesetto potremo avere già la ROM funzionante e magari già quella finale prima di fine 2014.

Novità Android L su Galaxy S5

  • New Note 4 fingerprint lock screen
  • New system-wide font — similar to the original one, but a tad thinner.
  • New animations, much smoother than before — there’s a screen off animation present as well.
  • Google Search bar in recents menu
  • Brightness slider in notification centre has a new yellow colour — while changing the brightness, the notification centre disappears and allows the user to view the content beneath it.
  • Removed “Interruptions” from Sound settings
  • Gallery: Media can be sorted using new filters including Pets, Events, Scenery, Documents, Food, Vehicles and Flowers.
  • Music: Improved UI
  • Clock: Navigation bar icons are now accompanied by text
  • Calculator: Removed square grids which surrounded the numbers and symbols
  • Contacts: New search box
  • Stock Material Design inspired applications receive colored status bar
  • Android Lollipop theme’s core green elements replaced with Samsung’s blue colour
  • Settings: Improved UI, new icon colours
  • New UI for setting wallpaper from home screen
  • Better spacing between options in power off dialog
