Epoch è un nuovo titolo che è arrivato sul Play Store dopo il debutto su iOS alcuni mesi fa e dotato di un impianto grafico a dir poco robusto. Il merito va all’Unreal Engine ed al team di sviluppo, Uppercut games, che ha saputo sfruttare al meglio l’hardware dei nuovi device.

Epoch è un action-game ad ambientazione futuristica nel quale il giocatore prende il controllo di un robot impegnato a sgominare orde di nemici, sfruttando i numerosi ripari presenti sullo scenario di gioco con un sistema di copertura che ricorda per certi aspetti il noto Gears of War.

Contrariamente a quest’ultimo, Epoch non permette una libertà di movimento totale al giocatore, ma offre un gameplay ugualmente adatto al controllo tramite interfaccia tattile. A colpire è poi l’engine grafico particolarmente complesso e ricco di effetti.

Un titolo notevole che dimostra quanto il Play Store si stia arricchendo di titoli di spessore.
