Ora collegate il tablet al PC con apposito cavo e senza dock. Ricordate che è necessario attivare il Debug USB dalle impostazioni di sistema.

Scaricate il pacchetto necessario ad eseguire il ROOT ed estraetelo sul desktop: Download TransformerPrimeRootICSNew.zip

Il pacchetto contiene vari file, ma voi dovete cliccare su “runme.bat” per iniziare il ROOT del vostro Transformer Prime.

In pochi istanti il procedimento di root sarà completato in automatico.

Il tablet si riavvierà 3 volte automaticamente.

A procedimento completato, potrete verificare la corretta conclusione del processo controllando se, tra le applicazioni installate, compare ora "Superuser". Se compare significa che avete ottenuto i diritti di ROOT. Se non compare provate a rifare la procedura.

METODO ALTERNATIVO

Se il metodo precedente non funzionasse, provate questo:

1. Download the SparkyRoot app from here (SparkyRoot.apk, 1.09 MB).  You may also want to visit the original development thread to check for more up-to-date versions.
2. Using your USB cable, connect your Asus Transformer Prime to the computer.
3. Copy the SparkyRoot.apk file directly to the root of your tablet’s SD card.
4. Disconnect your Asus Transformer Prime from the computer.
5. Using a file explorer app, install the SparkyRoot APK to your tablet.
6. Launch the SparkyRoot app.
7. In the app’s main screen, you will see 4 buttons.
8. Tap on step 1 to perform some checks and run the exploit.
9. Tap on step 2.
10. Open ASUS App Backup and try backing up any app.  You can choose the SparkyRoot app, since it’s size is small.
11. Return to the SparkyRoot screen.
12. Tap on step 3 to install the Superuser app.
13. Tap on step 4 to finish the rooting process.
